If you only worried about what Allah subhanhu wa ta’ala sees of you and within you…
You would be far happier.
All the stress of society you face…
The victimizing of individuals and their appearances…
Even their thoughts and opinions are judged… You are judged… You will always be judged…
You will never be good enough for people.
Never.
But if you love Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala…
You will find contentment…
You will find some satisfaction in this life…
You will find happiness even in the darkness.
You will never feel alone.
You will feel loved and accepted for nothing is warmer than His love and mercy.
If you worried about what He thought, you would be a better person.
A much better person.
And naturally, people will appreciate you, be inspired by you, respect you…
Because that’s what barakah does to you…
That’s what the love of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala does for you.
And those that will hate you…
For there will always be people who will not accept you…
Their hatred will not be able to phase you, insha`Allah.
Because what you will be doing will be for His sake alone, and as long as you’re doing the right thing, nothing they say can hurt you, because you aren’t doing anything for their sake.
Show your love to your Lord.
He loves you too.
He tests you to teach you;
he makes you face struggles to strengthen you.
He wants to build a palace for you in jannah.
But you must earn it. And it’s so easy to do so.
With every action you make, do it for the sake of your Lord. If that is your focus, you will never falter and people will never be able to harm you, insha`Allah.
May you find happiness and success in this life and the hereafter.
May we please our Lord. May we meet in jannat-ul-firdous.
